An historical presentation about advising and assisting a President who breached the law and covered up his misdeeds – sad lessons to be learned, but which uiltimately clarified and confirmed many professional perceptions in the US of an attorney’s duties towards a political principal viv à vis principles of legality and public duty. It caused changes in the ABA Model Rules, and led to more modern assessments of the role and its duties.

This aspect is less well-recognised as most often being conduct of an addictive nature.
